Description
Jean-Marc Autran was one of the first winemakers in Sablet to experiment with barrel winemaking for his white wines. This cuvée, a blend of Grenache blanc, Viognier, Roussanne and Marsanne, benefits from patient vinification where each grape variety is fermented separately in barrels, followed by careful ageing in barrels for several months.
Located in the heart of the southern Côtes-du-Rhône, the Sablet appellation is still little known but offers seductive, fine and balanced wines. The sandy and clay soils contribute to the aromatic freshness and delicacy of the whites, which stand out for their elegance and their ability to be an ideal accompaniment to gourmet meals.
