Made with 8% Carignan and 3% Mourvèdre, the 2020 Syrah Lower East begins with a floral and fresh nose, popping with whole-cluster aromas, spicy florals, crunchy red fruits and a notion of bitter dark chocolate. Medium-bodied, fresh and spicy, the succulent and food-friendly wine will be ready for action when it’s released early next year. Made with 70% whole-cluster fruit, the wine rested for 21 months in neutral French barrels.
