Very deep dark ruby magenta color. Boysenberry, blackberry, German chocolate cake, dried fig, wool, bay leaf, and subtle walnut on the nose. Very dry, velvety palate, with granular acidity. Firm tannins on the longish finish. This kept improving over an hour of drinking. It’s slightly brooding, but the fruit is rich and expressive. Nice complexity for the price point. SP25-3
