This is very perfumed with blackberry and pine-cone aromas, as well as raspberries and black cherries. Full-bodied with firm, velvety tannins that are tight-grained. Creamy and beautiful. Currant and graphite flavors come through. Lightly chewy at the end. 60% cabernet sauvignon, 21% merlot, 14% cabernet franc and 5% petit verdot. Drink after 2025. SP11-4

  • Peter Michael 2015 Les Pavots

    Peter Michael 2015 Les Pavots

    $249.99

    Knights Valley Sonoma California
    Jeb Dunnuck 98 Rating
The 2015 Les Pavots checks in as 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, 15% Merlot and the balance Petit Verdot. It offers a huge nose of blackcurrants, blackberry, scorched earth, graphite, and cedarwood. Deep, rich, supple, and sexy, with a seamless, incredibly elegant texture, it builds with time in the glass and is a monumental Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Napa Valley. R42-5

  • Peter Michael Winery 2018 La Carriere Chardonnay

Peter Michael Winery 2018 La Carriere Chardonnay

    $109.99

    Knights Valley
    Wine Advocate 97 Rating
La Carriere is situated at an elevation of around 1,200-1,700 feet with a rocky, shallow, volcanic soil that gives low fertility and is among the lowest yields of all the Peter Michael vineyards. The vineyard is planted to Dijon and Hyde (Old Wente) clone selections. This 2018 Chardonnay la Carriere starts off very citrusy, leaping from the glass with notes of fresh limes and grapefruit, before coming through with alluring honey-drizzled peaches, fresh ginger and preserved kumquat notes. The medium to full-bodied palate is super-intense with beautiful tension lighting up a shimmering palate of citrus and mineral layers, finishing long and steely. R35-5

  • Peter Michael Winery 2020 Chardonnay La Carriere

Peter Michael Winery 2020 Chardonnay La Carriere

    $119.99

    Knights Valley Sonoma California
    Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
On the nose, the 2020 Chardonnay La Carriere is flush with sunny primary fruit of peach, ripe pineapple, and flinty minerality. The body is full, with a glycerin-rich mouthfeel, and ripe with cantaloupe, custard, and lemon candy. Drink this over the next 10 or more years. R43-1

    Tuscany Italy
    Wine Enthusiast 90 Rating
The nose opens clean and fresh, with blackberries, mulberries and wild mint, then turns denser and savory with aromas of tar and leather. The satiny palate remains balanced, between the sweetness of mixed berries and the savoriness of damp earth and crushed rocks.

Radiantly clear, yellow greenish reflections, beautiful spice already on the nose, crisp apple, very fruity on the palate framed by the classic pepper, citrus and herbal notes. Elegant finish invites you to the next glass. Wonderful with light, fresh salads and goes perfectly with all dishes of Viennese cuisine. But also, very nice with Asian and all spicy dishes.
