Beaulieu Vineyard BV 2018 Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
$124.99Napa Valley California
Antonio Galloni Vinous 98 Rating
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Georges de Latour Private Reserve is fabulous. Inky, rich and explosive, the 2018 is a fine addition to the lineage of one of Napa Valley's most historic wines. Inky red fruit, chocolate, leather and licorice all open in the glass. Aeration brings out floral top notes, raspberry and a hint of blood orange. There is plenty of depth, but the tannins are finer than they were a few years ago. Shorter time on the skins and a reduction in barrel fermentations really allow the pedigree of these Rutherford sites to come through. The 2018 is sensational. R35-4 -
Tenuta Argentiera 2013 Bolgheri Superiore Argentiera
$124.99Tuscany Italy
Wine Advocate 95 Rating
Sporting a special ten-year anniversary label printed on silver paper, the 2013 Bolgheri Superiore Argentiera is a beautiful wine and is certainly the best expression I have yet to taste from Tenuta Argentiera. The results are smooth and silky, and the wine reveals beautiful integration and finesse. The blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc (aged in oak for 18 months). It is bursting with blackberry, dried cherry, spice, tobacco and grilled herb. The mouthfeel is firm and powerful, but never too heavy. The Tenuta Argentiera estate is really coming into its own and is showing steady and encouraging growth, year after year. SP45-2 -
Altesino 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva
$124.99Tuscany Italy
Wine Spectator 97 Rating
Laced with ripe cherry, strawberry, floral, spice, iron and leather flavors, this red is complex and charming, yet with serious tannins that ply the structure and lift the long finish. The fine balance should facilitate longevity. R45-3 -

The 2015 Petite Syrah Hayne Vineyard possesses a gorgeous structural spine to balance the intense, inky fruit. Chocolate, plum, spice and succulent red cherry notes abound in this creamy, super-expressive Petite. SP19-1 -

Coming from higher elevation granite soils and just about all Syrah, the 2018 Cotes Du Roussillon Villages Lesquerde L’Esquerda offers stunning granite character with its cassis and black raspberry fruit intermixed with lots of wet stone, ground pepper, white flowers, and hints of truffle. Deep, medium to full-bodied, beautifully pure and elegant on the palate, with light tannins, it’s going to keep for upwards of a decade.

Vinous 90 Rating
The 2023 Rosé Sabine is ripe, vibrant and structured. Spiced red fruit and almonds rush across the palate, supported by energetic acidity and a bit of grip that pleasantly tugs at the cheeks. This is a fine example of classically styled Provençal Rosé.

This fluid red is suave and harmonious, with flavors of pureed boysenberry and black cherry gliding across the palate. Limber, sculpting tannins and balsamico-laced acidity are a supple frame, and accents of stone, wild sage, sassafras root and pepper linger on the fragrant finish.
