Far Niente 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
$89.99California
James Suckling 96 Rating
Very precisely polished and focused wine with aromas of black cherries, blue berries and violets followed by green bell pepper, black ink and gravel. Underlying umami notes, too. Full-bodied, firm yet finely grained juicy tannins with bright acidity that balances out the palate. Beautifully integrated toasty notes and baking spices on the mid-palate and in the finish. Flourishing and artful wine that will age gracefully. Try after 2027. SP21-4 -

Frederic Magnien 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes
$92.99 – $557.94Cote de Nuits Burgundy France
A love letter to the purpled fruit and silky tannins of Chambolle. A selection of older-vine fruit from villages-level plots in Chambolle-Musigny: ‘Les Babillères,’ ‘Les Condemennes’ (which borders premier cru ‘Charmes’) and ‘Les Danguerrins,’ high up at the forest line. Vines 50+ years old.

Larmandier-Bernier Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée
$94.99 – $1,080.00Champagne France
Wine Advocate 96 Rating
The latest edition of Larmandier-Bernier's NV Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée is simply stunning, wafting from the glass with scents of minty red apples, rose petals and blood orange. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, pure and elegant, with a concentrated core of vibrant fruit, a pinpoint mousse and a long, beautifully fragrant finish. This wine's alliance of delicacy and intensity makes it one of the most exciting rosé bottlings being produced in all of Champagne. This cuvée derives from the domaine's oldest vines in Vertus and is disgorged with three grams per liter dosage.

The 2021 Napanook is one heck of a Napanook, offering complex notes of currants, cassis, graphite, leafy tobacco, lead pencil, and chocolate. Incredible on the palate, it’s full-bodied and round, with supple, vibrant, incredible tannins. This is easily the finest vintage I’ve tasted of this cuvee and it’s the equivalent of many a Grand Vin from other producers. SPBX-6

Frederic Magnien 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes
$94.99Cote de Nuits Cote d'Or Burgundy France
Burghound.com 91 Rating
There is enough reduction present to blur the underlying fruit. More interesting are the sleek, intense and delicious middle weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality onto the lingering and moderately refined finale. This is a quality Chambolle villages and worth checking out. SP3-1 -
Joh. Jos. Prüm 2003 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Gold Capsule
$94.99Mosel Germany
Wine Spectator 95 Rating
Very clean and focused, with an intensity that belies its delicate profile. Wonderful aromas and flavors of apricot, flowers and slate, with pinpoint balance and a long, almost salty aftertaste. Deceptive and completely disarming in its appeal. Drink now through 2030. *Collectibles* Wall -
Flowers 2022 Pinot Noir Sea View Ridge
$99.99 – $528.00Sonoma Coast California
Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
The dark red 2022 Pinot Noir Seaview Ridge Vineyard offers another level of complexity and a touch of umami richness in its notes of black cherries, sea brine, brushy herbs, and licorice. Medium-bodied, it takes on greater intensity and concentration on the palate, with ripe tannins, a darker mineral tone, and a long finish.
