The NV Champagne Brut Rose is an attractive pale salmon hue, with a fresh perfume of wild strawberry, ripe peach, white and red flowers, a hint of tropical fruit, and grapefruit. The palate is rounded, with fruit up front and through the mid-palate, and it has a silky and fresh lift. There is a wonderful ease and drinkability to this wine, which delivers balance and finesse. $89.99$480.00

    Paso Robles California
    Wine Advocate 93 Rating
The 2020 Passing By is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petite Sirah and 2% Merlot. It has a deep ruby-purple color and scents of cassis, pencil shavings, violet, dried herbs and aniseed. The full-bodied palate is soft and juicy with loads of jammy fruit and new oak, with vanilla, brown sugar and nutmeg lingering on the finish. It’s a good effort in a challenging vintage and lovers of ripe, oaked reds can enjoy this over the next 3-5 years. R26-5

  • Spottswoode Lyndenhurst 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon

    $89.99

    Napa Valley California

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Lyndenhurst is composed of 77.7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9.4% Cabernet Franc, 4.1% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot and 3.8% Malbec. Deep garnet-purple in color, it skips out of the glass with lively blueberries, redcurrants and kirsch scents, plus hints of cedar chest, fragrant earth and rose hip tea. Medium-bodied, elegant and lively in the mouth, the palate is chock-full of bright and crunchy red and black fruits, finishing long and earthy. R12-4

  • Chateau D’Issan 2020 Margaux

    $89.99

    Bordeaux France
    Jeb Dunnuck 96 Rating
The 2020 Chateau D’Issan is a stunningly good Margaux, and this is another estate that seems to producer brilliant wines every vintage. Pulling from 51.04 hectares of vines and a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, the rest Petit Verdot and Malbec, it’s a selection of just 45% of the total production and spent 18 months in 50% new and 50% once-used French oak. Beautiful, spiced-laced red and black fruits, chocolate, smoked tobacco, and incense notes define the aromatics. These carry to a medium to full-bodied restrained, elegant 2020 with terrific mid-palate density, ripe, velvety tannins, and terrific overall balance. This is one of those beautiful, classic wines that grows on you with time in the glass, and hats off to Emmanuel Cruse for yet another incredible wine. It’s going to evolve for another 25-30 years if well-stored. Best After 2026 SPBX-6

  • Produttori 2013 Barbaresco Pora Riserva

    $89.99

    Piedmont Italy
    Wine Spectator 95 Rating
A rich, cherry- and floral-scented red, effusive in aroma, with the core of cherry prevailing on the palate. Though fleshy, this gives way to firm tannins that line the lingering aftertaste. Inviting and full of energy, so decant now or wait. Best from 2023 through 2035. SP44-1

  • Julien Fayard 2021 Classic Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

    $89.99$450.00

    California
    Enjoyabilityfactor 96 Rating
Julien’s 2021 Classic unites Napa Valley’s diverse terroirs in a gracefully balanced composition. Complex aromas, dynamic textures and fresh energy deliver an elegant expression of the region and vintage. An inviting nose offers plum, espresso, and warm, woodsy notes of cedar and autumn leaves. Plush, sweet purple fruit and rich coffee aromas expand on the palate, supported by gentle minerality and notes of fresh thyme and garrigue. Spicy white-pepper tannins usher the wine into a mouthwatering finish of fresh red fruits, blackberry pastry, and allspice.

  • E. Guigal 2019 Cote-Rotie Brune et Blonde

    $89.99$480.00

    Northern Rhone Valley France
    Vinous 95 Rating
Inky ruby. Vibrant, spice-accented cherry and boysenberry scents are complicated by hints of black pepper, candied flowers and licorice. Supple and broad in the mouth, offering juicy red and blue fruit preserves, spicecake, olive paste and violet pastille flavors that tighten up steadily with air. The floral note repeats strongly on the clinging finish, which shows excellent clarity and velvety, slowly building tannins. There are almost a quarter-million bottles of this wine made in a typical vintage, by the way. 50% new oak.
