Croix Estate 2021 Floodgate Pinot Noir Middle Reach
$74.99Russian River Valley Sonoma California
Enjoyabilityfactor 93 Rating
This is a classic, Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Fans of full-bodied, concentrated styles will absolutely love what this wine has to offer. Spicey aromas of cinnamon, cardamom, and anise mingle with dark cherry perfume, cola, sweet smoked tobacco leaf, and toasted vanillin. Compact, extracted, and viscous on the palate, the wine has substantial power and glide featuring dark black cherry, savory caramel, black plum pie, supported with balanced acidity to lift the wine into a harmonious balance of rich and racy. Roar Wines 2021 Soberanes Vineyard Pinot Noir
$74.99Santa Lucia Highlands California
Wine Enthusiast 94 Rating
If seeking out a flavorful, attention-commanding Pinot Noir, this is a satisfying choice, starting with baked black cherry and a spice rack of aromas on the nose. There’s a chalky texture that wraps around the undeniably ripe flavors of black cherry, black plum and rich spices on the unctuous palate. -
Croix Estate 2021 Zinfandel Croix Estate Vineyard 1904
$74.99Russian River Valley California
Enjoyabilityfactor 93 Rating
Planted in 1904, our Croix Estate Vineyard Zinfandel is a heritage vineyard site located next door to the Fanucchi Wood Road Vineyard and across the drive from the Chelli and Belloni Vineyards near the intersection of Woolsey and Wood Road. Our 2021 vintage of this wine establishes itself smack in the middle of big, bold, and balanced. Eight acres of gnarly old-vine Zinfandel from our newest estate produces this testament to Napa Valley history. Impenetrable, glass coating color leads fans of Zinfandel to loads of blackberries, white pepper spice, sweet honeysuckle, crushed blue herbs and a very full, viscous, and lengthy finish. This is approachable upon release and will age, when cellared correctly, for 5 to 8 years. R38-2 -

Silky and exuding violet, blackberry and black currant, this red is about as alluring as a young Burgundy gets. It firms up on the finish with refined, cocoa powder tannins. Vibrant and long too. Drink now through 2028. SP4-12 -

Chateau La Tour Blanche 2009 Sauternes
$74.99Bordeaux France
Wine Advocate 93 Rating
The 2009 La Tour Blanche has a gorgeous, botrytis-rich bouquet with lemon thyme, honey and spice, with just a touch of alcoholic warmth denying it the clarity it deserves. The palate is crisp and taut on the entry with notes of apricot and white peach emerging with a few swirls of the glass. It offers a pleasing viscosity and volume in the mouth, although compared to its barrel showing, it appears to have tightened up more than I expected, possibly a sign that it is a wine in for the long haul. Drink 2017-2035.through 2024. 6,665 cases made. R43-1 SP60-2 -

The 2017 Pinot Noir Bondi Home Ranch is pale to medium ruby-purple with a nose of licorice, blueberry compote, boysenberry and black cherry preserves, with turned earth and exotic spice in the background. Quilceda Creek 2018 CVR Red Blend
$74.99Columbia Valley
Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
Always one of the top values in high-end Cabernet Sauvignon out there, the 2018 CVR Columbia Valley Red Wine boasts a healthy ruby/plum hue to go with a smoking bouquet of creme de cassis, toasted spiced, licorice, graphite, and crushed rock-like minerality. Rich, full-bodied, and beautifully textured, almost seamless, on the palate, it has a great mid-palate and a powerful, ripe, yet balanced and lengthy vibe making it a joy to drink. It should have 10-15 years of longevity, if not more. SP13-3 R40-3 -
Antinori 2015 Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino
$74.99Tuscany Italy
James Suckling 94 Rating
Quite reductive and earthy, but opens to show tidy cranberries and glazed red cherries. Hints of citrus and spice. Full-bodied and rich, but there’s savory edge to the plush, juicy tannins, and lots of weight and density. Drink from 2024. R10-3 SP49-5
