E. Guigal 2017 La Landonne Côte-Rôtie
$399.99Northern Rhone Valley
Jeb Dunnuck 97-100 Rating
A ripe, sexy nose of smoked game, truffly earth, chocolate, and jammy black and blue fruits emerge from the 2017 Côte Rôtie La Landonne. Made from 100% Syrah from the schist soils of the La Landonne lieu-dit, aged four years in oak, this massive, full-bodied 2017 shows the sexier, riper style of the vintage, yet it has incredible tannins, a deep, layered mid-palate, and nothing out of place. It will be interesting to see if it hits the heights of past great vintages, such as 2015, 2010, 2009, 2005, or 2003, but it’s certainly in the same ballpark. R13-1 -
E. Guigal 2018 Gigondas
$39.99Southern Rhone Valley France
Wine Advocate 92 Rating
Guigal's 2018 Gigondas boasts floral, garrigue-laced aromas that lend complexity to notes of stone fruit and red raspberries. Full-bodied and concentrated, it's also supple and silky in feel, with a ripe, harmonious feel and a lingering finish. It's a testament to the Guigals' relationships in the appellation that this is one of their most delicious and consistent bottlings. R28-5 -
E. Guigal 2019 Cotes du Rhone
$12.99 – $144.00Southern Rhone Valley France
Jeb Dunnuck 92 Rating
The 2019 Côtes Du Rhône will be a no-brainer purchase. This Syrah-heavy red has lots of blackberry, bouquet garni, and peppery notes in a ripe, full-bodied, textured style. It’s well worth buying and drinking over the coming 5-7 years.

E. Guigal 2020 Condrieu La Doriane
$119.99 – $660.00Northern Rhone Valley France
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Rating
Just about pure perfection and one of the finest Condrieu to pass my lips, the 2020 Condrieu La Doriane offers an insane bouquet of grilled pineapple, charcoal, crushed stone, acacia flowers, and white peach. It picks up an incredibly sense of salinity on the palate and is full-bodied, has blockbuster concentration, remarkable purity and focus, and a great finish. I like this beast/beauty today, but it will keep for a decade. SPB10-6Extremely Limited.

E. Guigal 2021 Tavel Rose
$21.99 – $228.00Southern Rhone Valley France
Jeb Dunnuck 91 Rating
Tavel is richer than the Côtes Du Rhône (as expected) and has a more ruby/salmon hue as well as textbook Tavel notes of wild strawberries, framboise, spice, and even a hint of garrigue. It’s medium-bodied and textured, with a clean, dry finish.

Yellow gold, clear and brilliant. Freshness on the nose marked by the distinctive aromas of Viognier; white flowers, apricot, acacia and white peach. On the palate it is fruity with plenty of richness and body. A well-rounded wine with elegance, strength and balance.

This is a classically made, satisfying style of Paso Robles Cab. Aromas of roasted meats and blackberry jam combine smoke and fruit on the nose. The palate shows fresher berries alongside flavors of cracked pepper and graphite.
