St. Cosme 2022 Côtes du Rhône
$16.99 – $180.00Southern Rhone Valley France
Wine Spectator 90 Rating
A hefty version of Côtes du Rhône, with a lot of stuffing, showing ripe black plum and black currant flavors layered with black pepper and grilled rosemary. Sturdy tannins hem in the creamy palate, with a kick of bitter mineral and graphite through the medium-length finish. Very solid.

Showing beautifully on multiple occasions, the 2016 Château Phélan Ségur is incredibly impressive and reveals a saturated purple as well as pure cassis, violets, damp earth, lead pencil, and spice-driven aromas and flavors. Beautifully layered and textured, concentrated, with fine tannins and the purity and elegance that make the vintage so compelling front and center, it’s a high-class Saint Estèphe to enjoy over the coming 20-25 years or more. B Cellars 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Ehrlich Vineyard
$149.99Napa Valley California
Wine Advocate 96 Rating
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Ehrlich Vineyard is from another spot in Oakville. The production of this wine is 750 cases of unfined and unfiltered Cabernet Sauvignon. B Cellars is starting to get my attention and is one of the more exciting and newer producers in Napa Valley, and although they’ve been at it for a while, I have never tasted wines of this quality from them. This is spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon that offers up cedar wood, blackcurrants, blueberry, incense and graphite. It is full-bodied, powerful and rich, but with sweet tannin and the 2014 hallmark of suppleness and charm. Quite deep, opulent and stunningly rich, drink it over the next 20 years. R39-1 -

Heitz 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon
$74.99 – $390.00Napa Valley California
James Suckling 94 Rating
A pure, balanced and fresh Napa cabernet that is not just showing heady concentration and dark fruit. Here you get some violets, nimble flowers, redcurrants, graphite and fine spices. Some oranges, too. Fragrant and nuanced. Medium to full body with tight yet refined tannins. Rather linear, tense and elegant, but lacking neither power nor definition. Better to give it a few years to deliver more complexity. R39-6

I’ve had several vintages of this wine and this is my favorite so far. Despite hitting 14.1% abv, it feels light on its feet, with a nice balance between gentle acidity and velvety tannins. Look for aromas and flavors of briary raspberries, graphite, earth and coffee with cream.

Flechas De Los Andes 2020 Gran Malbec
$21.99 – $108.00Mendoza Argentina
Vinous 92 Rating
he 2020 Gran Malbec hails from Campo Los Andes in the Uco Valley and was a third aged in new French foudres, a third in used French barrels and a third in tanks for 18 months. Dark garnet-red in hue. The balsamic nose features camphor, menthol, bay leaf and ripe red fruit against an oaky backdrop. Dry and velvety in the mouth, the reactive tannins and the medium body are enhanced by the measured acidity before the long, balsamic finish. The 2020 is a warm year red
