    The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Ehrlich Vineyard is from another spot in Oakville. The production of this wine is 750 cases of unfined and unfiltered Cabernet Sauvignon. B Cellars is starting to get my attention and is one of the more exciting and newer producers in Napa Valley, and although they’ve been at it for a while, I have never tasted wines of this quality from them. This is spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon that offers up cedar wood, blackcurrants, blueberry, incense and graphite. It is full-bodied, powerful and rich, but with sweet tannin and the 2014 hallmark of suppleness and charm. Quite deep, opulent and stunningly rich, drink it over the next 20 years. R39-1

    I’ve had several vintages of this wine and this is my favorite so far. Despite hitting 14.1% abv, it feels light on its feet, with a nice balance between gentle acidity and velvety tannins. Look for aromas and flavors of briary raspberries, graphite, earth and coffee with cream.

    he 2020 Gran Malbec hails from Campo Los Andes in the Uco Valley and was a third aged in new French foudres, a third in used French barrels and a third in tanks for 18 months. Dark garnet-red in hue. The balsamic nose features camphor, menthol, bay leaf and ripe red fruit against an oaky backdrop. Dry and velvety in the mouth, the reactive tannins and the medium body are enhanced by the measured acidity before the long, balsamic finish. The 2020 is a warm year red
