Deep in color with purple hues and very bright. Great varietal typicity and spices are appreciated. It is a wine with an expressive center of mouth. Great balance and complexity from the oak ageing. It is deep and elegant, so it persists in the mouth and has a long finish.

There is a sense of translucence in the 2016 that is just compelling. Deceptive in its mid-weight structure, the 2016 has a ton of richness that emerges over time. The Le Coste spent 25 months in 40HL cask. I loved it.
