Terredora di Paolo 2022 Greco di Tufo Loggia della Serra
$24.99 – $240.00Campania Italy
Ripe and slightly honeyed on the nose with a floral edge to the orange zest, chalk and lime. Almost a bit tropical, too, with a hint of green mango. Bone-dry and nicely phenolic with a subtle grip on the medium-bodied palate, creating a tightly-wound texture before a pure and pithy finish.

Acinum 2017 Amarone della Valpolicella
$49.99 – $270.00Veneto Italy
Wine Enthusiast 90 Rating
A dense and opaque wine from the moment it flows in the glass. Dark and brooding on the nose with Black Forest cake, cocoa powder, and dark roast-coffee aromas with a slight herbal note. The palate is mouth filling with coconut, cherry and dark chocolate dominating the palate. If you are looking for lush, very fruit-forward Amarone, this is it.

This refreshing and elegant white represents superb value for money. Yellow-straw in color with hints of green. It is fresh and bright with mouthwatering acidity and plenty of citrus and stone fruit flavors. A wonderful note of minerality is the perfect counterpoint to the wine’s vibrant fruit, making it all the more versatile and compelling at the table.

Merry Edwards Winery 2021 Olivet Lane Pinot Noir
$89.99 – $900.00Russian River Sonoma County California
Wine Enthusiast 96 Rating
Almost irresistible for its lavish spices and rich fruits, this deep and expansive wine is memorably flavorful and complex. Cinnamon, cedar, cloves and balsam complement vibrant red cherries, rich black cherries and mulled plums as a full body and moderate tannins give it significant heft in the texture. Best from 2027–2033.

Saint-Damien 2022 Vacqueyras

The first Vacqueyras I’ve tasted from this brilliant Gigondas estate, the 2022 Vacqueyras has pure red and black fruits as well as textbook spicy herbs, pepper, and savory flower aromas and flavors. It’s concentrated, medium to full-bodied, has plenty of mid-palate depth, and outstanding length. I’d happily be a buyer. SP36-6

Nickel & Nickel 2021 Fog Break Vineyard Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon
$109.99 – $570.00Napa Valley California
Outstanding balance and complexity from the beginning that showcases concentrated black fruits and purple flowers with plenty of spices and subtle yet harmonious toast and cedar aromas. Intense graphite and stony minerality, too. Full- to medium-bodied on the mid-palate with delightful acidity that gives this wonderful crunchiness. Fine-grained juicy tannins. Precisely focused wine that is colorful and sound. Beautiful length, too. Already so drinkable now but will age gracefully, especially for Atlas Peak. SP17-2

Nickel & Nickel 2021 State Ranch Yountville Cabernet Sauvignon
$109.99 – $570.00Napa Valley California
This vineyard is named for its prized location on State Lane north of the Yountville Crossroad and northeast of the town of Yountville. This distinct vineyard relies on its rocky, loam soil for excellent drainage throughout the year. The vines, as well as the clusters, are moderate in size and the vineyard gets full sun throughout the day. From the outset, this is one powerful, deeply expressive Cabernet Sauvignon with a lingering finish. SP21-5

Domaine Raymond Usseglio & Fils 2021 Chateauneuf Du Pape Cuvee Imperiale

Wine Advocate 97 Rating

The stunning 2021 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Imperiale comes from old vines in two sandy parcels—one in Pied Long and one in la Crau. Exotic aromas of orange zest, Campari-like spice and exquisitely ripe cherries appear on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is silky and creamy in texture yet airy and vibrant, with a long, zesty finish. It’s a definite candidate for wine of the vintage, alongside its Mourvèdre-based stablemate, La Part des Anges. Drink: 2025-2040. SP33-6
