What used to be the entry-level effort of the estate, the 2015 Estate Blend is year in, year out at an incredible quality level that it’s hard to think of the wine those terms. The 2015 is 52% Syrah, 26% Mourvèdre, 13% Grenache, and the rest Tempranillo and Zinfandel, all from the Paderewski and Catapult vineyards on the west side of Paso Robles. It offers a terrific bouquet of black plums, ground pepper, charred meats and charcoal. Full-bodied, smoky, meaty, and rich, it stays light and graceful on the palate, with sweet tannins. SP20-1

It's always a more masculine, powerful Syrah, and the 2017 is no exception. It delivers loads of black fruits, bloody meat, marine-like salinity and minerality, full-bodied richness, sweet tannins, and a blockbuster of a finish. This shows the sexy, ripe style of the vintage, and while it's a joy to drink today, it certainly has a solid decade of life ahead of it. SP15-2

The 2024 Santa Margherita “Eterna” White Blend is a premium, highly expressive cuvée from the estate, stepping away from their monolithic, everyday Pinot Grigio to showcase the complex, alpine terroir of Alto Adige. This flagship white is an aromatic blend crafted primarily from Pinot Grigio, layered with Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, and a highly aromatic lift of Müller-Thurgau, all hand-harvested at peak ripeness from select high-altitude vineyards. In the glass, it shows a star-bright lemon color with golden reflections. The nose is incredibly vivid, broad, and layered, opening with a burst of fresh grapefruit, lemon peel, and bergamot, beautifully woven into riper notes of white peach, pear, and subtle tropical undertones. The Müller-Thurgau component adds a delicate, highly perfumed floral element and a touch of fresh green herbs. On the palate, the wine balances a smooth, generous, and texturally rich mid-palate with a vibrant, refreshing line of vertical acidity that ensures absolute clarity. The finish is remarkably long, clean, and balanced, showing complex, savory undertones of rosemary and a classic, slightly bitter hint of toasted almonds.

Straw yellow color with bright golden reflections. Hints of jasmine flowers, white-fleshed fruit like peach and sbergia (typical Sicilian variety of nectarine peach) and intense minerality (typical of the volcanic area). Each sip gives sense of freshness and youth. Fresh wine characterized by the presence of golden shades, it is produced with Carricante and Catarratto grapes. It has a delicate taste synonymous of its youth. regular $37.99
