Maison Frederic Magnien 2022 Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Price range: $39.99 through $180.00Cote de Nuits Burgundy France
Frédéric Magnien is a fifth-generation winemaker from Morey-Saint-Denis. Learning the craft from his father, Michel Magnien (of Domaine Michel Magnien), Fred also traveled to hone his talents in other fine wine regions before returning home and starting his own négociant domaine in his native village. He differentiates himself from other négociants in that he works closely with partner growers throughout the growing season. His own teams tend these mostly older-vine vineyards according to organic and biodynamic methods and harvest the grapes, ensuring quality from field to bottle. Wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered and according to
the lunar calendar, with low added sulfites. Aromas of black cherries, raspberries and earth. Bright, fresh and juicy; flavors of raspberries, blueberry jam, baking spices.

Manni Nössing 2023 Kerner Valle Isarco
Price range: $32.99 through $168.00Alto Adige Italy
Antonio Galloni 94 Rating
Decidedly green in the best possible way, the 2023 Kerner launches from the glass with zest of lime and sour melon, hints of young kiwi and spice. It washes across the palate with silken, nearly oily textures and ripe, citrus-inflected orchard fruits as a bump of juicy acidity adds energy throughout. Long and saturating through the close, the 2023 reveals its underlying minerality and leaves an impression of lovely freshness.

Marcarini 2020 Barolo del Comune di La Morra
Price range: $49.99 through $528.00Piedmont Italy
Jeb Dunnuck 92 Rating
Medium brick red in hue, the 2020 Barolo Del Comune Di La Morra is forward notes of cedar, dusty earth, candied cranberries, sweet tea, and orange zest. Medium-bodied, it’s linear and clean, with fine tannins and a lifted feel, without any austerity. I like the freshness it retains, and it offers a lot of charm from the La Morra Comune. Drink 2024-2034.

Marciano 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate
$239.99Napa Valley California
Jeb Dunnuck 98+ Rating
Bottled in September of this year, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate checks in as 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Cabernet Franc brought up in French oak. Its inky purple color is followed by classic notes of blackcurrants, lead pencil shavings, spring flowers, and hints of crushed rock. Deep, seamless, ultra-pure, and incredibly classic on the palate, it's another brilliant, classic Napa Cabernet Sauvignon from winemaker Morgan Maureze. It’s slightly more reserved than the 2015 (which is to be expected as the vintages are dramatically different) and is going to benefit from 3-5 years of bottle age. R26-2 -
Marciano 2017 Estate M Proprietary Red
$139.99Napa Valley California
Wine Advocate 95 Rating
This was tasted as a barrel sample. A blend of Bordeaux varieties, the 2017 M by Marciano has a deep garnet-purple color and comes strutting out of the glass with the most gorgeous perfume of lilacs, red roses and baking spices, over a core of warm cassis, blackberry pie and preserved blueberries with wafts of pencil shavings and black loam. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is elegantly crafted with a quiet intensity and compelling tension, textured with beautifully fine-grained tannins, finishing long and fragrant. SP11-1 -

Vinous 90 Rating
The 2019 Margaux de Brane is bright, floral and perfumed, all of which make it a fine choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. The vibrancy of the fruit in this Merlot-driven red is especially alluring. In 2019 the Brane is an absolute delight.
