  • Tenuta Argentiera 2013 Bolgheri Superiore Argentiera

    $124.99

    Tuscany Italy
    Wine Advocate 95 Rating
Sporting a special ten-year anniversary label printed on silver paper, the 2013 Bolgheri Superiore Argentiera is a beautiful wine and is certainly the best expression I have yet to taste from Tenuta Argentiera. The results are smooth and silky, and the wine reveals beautiful integration and finesse. The blend is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc (aged in oak for 18 months). It is bursting with blackberry, dried cherry, spice, tobacco and grilled herb. The mouthfeel is firm and powerful, but never too heavy. The Tenuta Argentiera estate is really coming into its own and is showing steady and encouraging growth, year after year. SP45-2

  • Antinori 2015 Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino

    $73.99

    Tuscany Italy
    James Suckling 94 Rating
Quite reductive and earthy, but opens to show tidy cranberries and glazed red cherries. Hints of citrus and spice. Full-bodied and rich, but there’s savory edge to the plush, juicy tannins, and lots of weight and density. Drink from 2024. R10-2 SP49-5

  • Altesino 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva

    $124.99

    Tuscany Italy
    Wine Spectator 97 Rating
Laced with ripe cherry, strawberry, floral, spice, iron and leather flavors, this red is complex and charming, yet with serious tannins that ply the structure and lift the long finish. The fine balance should facilitate longevity. R45-3

  • Aia Vecchia Sor Ugo 2016 Bordeaux Red Blend

    $49.99

    Tuscany Italy
    Wine Advocate 93 Rating
The 2016 Bolgheri Superiore Sor Ugo offers thickly extracted aromas of blackberry preserves and cherry confit with smoke, tar and sweet spice. This is a full-bodied red (with 15% alcohol) that wraps thickly over the palate, showing rich density and concentration along the way. Campfire ash and hickory smoke appear on the close. The blend is 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot aged in barrique for 18 months. SP44-1

  • Aftermath 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon

    $79.99

    Napa Valley California
This 100% Estate-grown Cabernet offers up an amazing bouquet of classic dark Cabernet fruit that jumps out of the glass upon impact. This youngster is lush, full in bodied and surprisingly well-balanced. The wine is multi-layered loaded with gorgeous black currant, dark chocolate, a whiff of anise, cassis and a touch of spice on the opulent palate. Extremely well-balanced and in-sync wine that will please the big Cab lover. This is a killer wine, but unfortunately a very limited production. Winemaker Dave Phinney. BX-6

  • Sea Smoke 2020 Chardonnay Santa Rita Hills

    $99.99

    Santa Barbara County
An elegant Chardonnay with aromas of Meyer lemon zest, fresh cut melon and honeycomb. The nose is complemented by mandarin and a slight nuttiness in the focused mid-palate and the refreshing cool climate acidity of our estate vineyard. R45-5 R32-2

Pale straw in the glass, this wine has aromas of grapefruit and chopped green herbs. It offers flavors of white peach, lemon-lime, dried hillside herbs and orange zest. It is bright on the palate from first sip through the vivid finish.

  • Hacienda Lopez de Haro 2018 Crianza

    $13.99$144.00

    Rioja Spain
Cherry color, with russet tones around the rim. Assemblage of aromas from the barrel (cream, cocoa, and vanilla) with black as well as ripe fruits. Typical Tempranillo licorice aromas at the end with spicy notes. On the palate, it has a pleasant, elegant profile and it shows fresh sensations from beginning to end. A good structure, provided by the Tempranillo variety, but with the velvety character of its barrel aging. In the end it is reminiscent of cherry and leaves a very pleasant unctuous feeling.

This well-balanced, well-structured and handsomely complex wine emphasizes ripe plum and red-cherry flavors and accents them with subtle cinnamon, cedar and mint notes. Light tannins and a medium to full body lend a mouthfilling texture while lively acidity adds a fresh lift.
