Its dense purple color is followed by classic, blockbuster To Kalon notes of blueberries, cassis, raspberries, flowery incense, unsmoked tobacco, and violets. This powerhouse of a Cabernet is full-bodied, has loads of ripe tannins, a layered mouthfeel, and a great finish. This vineyard performed exceptionally well in 2018, and this is a gorgeous, textbook expression of this terroir to enjoy over the coming two decades. BX-6 SP31-11 -

A blend of 40% Roussanne, 25% Viognier, and the rest Grenache Blanc and Clairette, this medium-bodied, balanced, lively white would easily stand up to a Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc in a blind tasting. Drink bottles over the coming 2-4 years.

The nose is rife with notes of ripe blueberry, black plum, wild raspberry, espresso bean, sweet oak and a hint of crème de menthe and cedar. The entry is akin to walking through a tunnel of velvet walls with blackberry jam, reduced strawberry and a touch of rhubarb.
