Bright purple. Ripe black and blue fruit aromas are complemented by notes of violet and fresh flowers. Round, powerful and creamy in texture, offering juicy blueberry and cassis flavors firmed by tangy acidity. Shows very good breadth and power on the finish, which is framed by soft, harmonious tannins. This is the first vintage for this bottling, which has consistently delivered outstanding value, to include syrah (in the past it has been exclusively garnacha).
