The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon SMD (there’s 6% Cabernet Franc in the blend) is a slightly more value-priced release that has good complexity in its tobacco, garrigue, bay leaf, and conifer tree-scented aromatics. Possessing medium to full body, lots of dark fruit, and sweet tannins, I’d happily drink bottles any time over the coming 15+ years. Regular $84.99
