Description
Despite the higher-than-preferred temperatures throughout the growing season and significantly reduced yield, Cabernet Sauvignon pulled through with plenty of acidity, bright, fresh fruit, and complex earth and herbal notes in 2020.
This vintage also marks the first use of a new block of Clone 47 Cabernet Sauvignon. As a young block, this grape contributed beautifully dark color and juicy fruit attributes, with the older blocks adding depth of flavor, aromatics, and refined tannin. A small percentage of Petite Sirah and Merlot were included to fill out the mid-palate and add complexity.
