Reductive smokiness still clings to lemon and yeast notes on this wine's nose. The palate has smoky allure from oak, with a textured midpalate that speaks of yeast, citrus pith and depth. Chalky concentration spreads cooling freshness despite the year's ripeness. While this wine is rounded and sonorous, it is also vivid and fresh, with a lemony, chalky and textured finish that lasts. Drink 2022–2040.
