Founded by the owners of Domaine de Chevalier & Stephane Derenoncourt, one of the top winemakers in France, the Clos des Lunes 2022 is no ordinary Bordeaux. Pretty, blackberry, dried-tobacco and herbal aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, mouth filling flavors and a delicious fruit finish. A blend of 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc located a stone’s throw from Chevalier’s famed vineyards in Graves. Based on a special selection of vineyard lots handpicked by Deroncourt and vinified by Bernard’s team at Domaine de Chevalier, the Clos des Lunes aims to be little more modern in styling with an excellent quality-price ratio.
