Lemon, apple, and pineapple show on the nose as well as notes of wet slate, crème fraiche, white flowers, and a hint of match stick. The mouthfeel is palate coating and voluptuous giving way to apple, tropical fruit, and lemon pith on the back end with an insinuation of warm buttered toast on the finish. Racy acidity and crushed minerals hold the riper fruit elements in place and lend additional complexity to the floral qualities that occur as a result of the extended lys aging.
