A Northern Rhône lookalike, the 2016 Level 22 (49% Syrah, 35% Mourvèdre, and 16% Petite Sirah) offers a deep, black-fruited style as well as terrific notes of smoked meats, beef blood, and leafy herbs. Rich and full-bodied, with good acidity and a great finish, it’s another character-filled wine from this estate well worth your time and money.
