The last vintage from this site as they’re moving to all estate fruit, the 2023 Paderewski Vineyard is based on 40% Syrah, 20% Mataro, 14% Graciano, 13% Zinfandel, 7% Tempranillo, and 6% Viognier, fermented with 29% stem inclusion and aged 22 months in 44% new French 300-liter barrels and 30% concrete amphora. Red and black fruits, wildflowers, pepper, and exotic nuances of peach and orange blossom all emerge from this medium to full-bodied wine. Pure, round, layered, and seamless, it shows remarkable purity and a great finish. Drink: 2025-2038. SP17-2
