The color will be the first thing to impress. It’s a deep dark, ruby red color. On the nose, there are rich aromas of black cherry, cedar clove and vanilla. On the palate there is more vanilla, dark chocolate, leather, tobacco, balsamic, jam, raisin, prune, fig, black pepper, savory and sweet spice and flavors. Dry with balanced acidity giving it a tangy freshness and mellow tannins from barrel ageing. Very full bodied and full in the mouth as well as richly viscous in the glass.
