  • Janzen 2016 Beckstoffer To-Kalon Cabernet Sauvignon

    $249.99

    Oakville Napa Valley California
    Wine Advocate 99 Rating
A barrel sample, the very deep purple-black colored 2016 Janzen Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a little closed at this nascent juncture, offering glimpses of warm blackberry and spice cake notions with hints of incense, garrigue and hoisin. Full-bodied, rich and seductive, it has a lovely velvety texture and is packed with expressive fruit just waiting to unfurl, finishing long and multilayered. SP26-1

  • Janzen 2016 Cloudy’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

    $159.99

    Napa Valley California
    Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
From a site not far from the Hourglass Vineyard, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Janzen Cloudy’s Vineyard is upfront and charming, with full-bodied notes of macerated black cherries, cedarwood, chocolate, and licorice. It’s a mouthfilling, sexy, opulent wine that grows with time in the glass, has solid mid-palate depth, building tannins, and a great finish. Drink it any time over the coming 15-20 years. R41-1

  • Janzen 2018 Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

    $199.99

Lastly, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Janzen Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is more expressive and ready to go, offering a beautiful bouquet of cassis, blueberries, flowery incense, tobacco leaf, sandalwood, and violet-like nuances. Beautifully balanced and full-bodied, with that classic To Kalon sexiness as well as purity on the palate, this is another head-turning wine in this lineup that can be drunk today or cellared for 15-20 years. • Janzen 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Missouri Hopper Vineyard

    $149.99

    Napa Valley California
    Jeb Dunnuck 97+ Rating
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Janzen Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard reveals a dense purple/blue color to go with more closed, backward (yet classic Missouri Hopper) notes of chocolaty dark fruits, tobacco leaf, espresso roast, and a hint of violets. Beautiful on the palate, it's a powerhouse that offers a monster mouthfeel, ripe, silky tannins, and a great finish. Despite all its concentration, it stays nicely balanced and has a wonderful sense of freshness, which is the hallmark of the 2018 vintage. This beauty will evolve for 25+ years. R37-2

  • Janzen 2019 Cloudy’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

    $154.99

    Napa Valley California
    Jeb Dunnuck 95+ Rating
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Janzen Cloudy’s Vineyard comes from an estate vineyard located in the Dutch Henry Canyon, situated between the Switchback and Hourglass vineyards. Ripe currants, blueberries, leafy tobacco, iron, and chocolate all emerge from the glass, and it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a focused, elegant mouthfeel, a terrific sense of freshness, and outstanding length. It’s drinking nicely today, yet this beauty should easily have 15+ years of total longevity. SP11-5

  • Jean Laurent Blanc de Blancs Reserve

    $59.99

    Champagne France
    Enjoyabilityfactor 94 Rating
Put your nose in the glass and you will be greeted with lime, clementine, quince and a symphony of white flowers. Its fresh taste comes especially with citrus, white peach, passion fruit, plus undertones of fresh hazelnuts and brioche. Excellent.

  • Jean-Louis Chave 2021 Saint-Joseph

    $69.99

    Northern Rhone Valley France
    Decanter Magazine 93 Rating
A tasting of the various constituent lieux-dits revealed that the Bachesson parcel had a peppery side and its characteristic rose scent, and an unmistakably granitic texture. The Chalaix lieu-dit was precise, fine, with no huge concentration but good balance. Lieu-dit Dardouille was looking promising, with good weight and length. The finished blend of the domaine’s St-Joseph is likely to be neat, precise and fresh, with a distinct mineral side, one to drink relatively young. There will be no separate bottling of Clos Florentin this year due to frost. SP36-6 Most stores $99.99

  • Jim Barry 2012 The Armagh Shiraz

    $239.99

    South Australia
    Wine Advocate 98+ Rating
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2012 Shiraz The Armagh offers a gorgeous perfume of baking spices, violets, Sichuan pepper and fragrant earth. More earthy and savory in the mouth than on the nose, the palate is superbly structured and taut—built for the long-haul—with a long, complex finish. Still very youthfully, forget this wine for 3-5 more years and consider drinking it over the next 20+. R45-1

  • Joh. Jos. Prüm 2003 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Gold Capsule

    $94.99

    Mosel Germany
    Wine Spectator 95 Rating
Very clean and focused, with an intensity that belies its delicate profile. Wonderful aromas and flavors of apricot, flowers and slate, with pinpoint balance and a long, almost salty aftertaste. Deceptive and completely disarming in its appeal. Drink now through 2030. *Collectibles* Wall
