  • Saxum 2021 Cayucos Ridge Vineyard Red

    $249.99

    San Luis Obispo
    Jeb Dunnuck 97 Rating
A new wine that comes from a higher elevation site sitting just four miles off the Pacific Coast, the 2021 Cayucos Ridge Vineyard is all Syrah and has a singular style in its white pepper, fennel, game, and ripe blue fruit aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied and concentrated, with good ripeness, it just screams cool-climate California Syrah. SP21-4

  • Taittinger 2013 Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs

Fantastic complexity here with aromas of toast, biscuit, lemon, almond, chalk and some fennel. It’s long, sleek and mineral, with tight, very fine bubbles and so much tension and precision. Very long and chalky finish.

  • Bouchard 2020 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru

    $249.99

    Burgundy France
    Wine Spectator 95 Rating
A well-toned white hallmarked by floral, lemon, pear, stone and baking spice aromas and flavors. Creamy and builds across the palate, ending with a spicy aftertaste of lemon curd and stone. Best from 2025 through 2035. regular $300.00 bottle. R33-5

  • Ornellaia 2021 Bolgheri Superiore

    $249.99

    Tuscany Italy
    Wine Spectator 98 Rating
An intense red, defined by lively acidity and framed by dense, ripe tannins that showcase its black currant, blackberry, violet and toasty oak aromas and flavors. Iron and wild herb accents emerge as this plays out on the finish. Though expressive at this stage, this youthful version will benefit from time in bottle. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Best from 2027 through 2046. SP42-3

  • Faiveley 2020 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru

    $249.99

    Burgundy France
    TimAtkin.com 97 Rating
Exotic, dark and turbo-charged, this wine is wound up with sweet black plums and blackberries, anise and forest floor. It’s definitely a wine for those that like bolder, chunkier Pinots, whether you drink it soon or wait a few decades. Speaking of which, Jérôme feels strongly that it is best to wait ten years before trying this wine. For the less patient, I implore you to wait at least six or seven years! 2026-42. SP4-1

  • Faiveley 2020 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru

    $249.99

    Burgundy France
    Decanter Magazine 96 Rating
The wine has an inky dark color and pronounced aromas of blackberry, fig, smoke and spice. The texture is lush, yet there are firm tannins and the wine never seems overbearing or aggressive – everything is kept in elegant balance. Faiveley is the proprietor of three parcels that total 1.27ha in the Clos de Vougeot, including a portion in Grand Maupertuis and two parcels nearer the bottom. The fruit was picked very ripe (14.5%) and partially destemmed before fermentation, with a very careful extraction and ageing in cask (half new). SPBX-6

  • Faiveley 2020 Echézeaux En Orveaux Grand Cru

Aromatic and loaded with exotic spices, showing sandalwood, incense, strawberry, cherry and anise aromas and flavors. Simultaneously dense and elegant, with fine harmony and a terrific finish. Just keeps building and building on the palate to the long, kaleidoscopic conclusion. Best from 2026 through 2043. 17 cases imported. SP1-4

  • Taylor Fladgate 1968 Single Harvest Port

    $249.99

    Douro Portugal
    Wine Enthusiast 95 Rating
One of a series of releases by this Port producer, this Colheita, or Port from a single harvest, is beautifully poised between red fruits and mature almond and an old gold character. It has intensity, a product of the aging in wood that has just concentrated the wine. Like all Ports of this type, it is ready to drink.

  • Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle No. 26 Brut

    $249.99

    Champagne France
    James Suckling 100 Rating
This is really something. Electric on the palate. The aromas are so complex with sliced fresh and dried ginger, subtle pie crust, tarte tatin and hints of nutmeg with some salted caramel. Toasted bread, too. Always subtle. The palate is full- to medium-bodied yet hemmed-in with a freshness and balance that draws you back. Savory and vibrant. It’s full of energy. Spectacular. Fascinating. Symphonic blend of 2012, 2008 and 2007. 65% of the 2012, 25% of the 2008 and 10% of the 2007. Eight grand cru. Chardonnay 58% and 42% pinot noir. Disgorged February 2023. 10 years on the lees. 7g/L dosage. Drink or hold.
