Enjoyabilityfactor 94 Rating
Pouring a vivid cardinal into the glass, the 2019 Disciples is replete with aromas of cranberry compote, Rainier cherry, Staedtler graphite pencil and Mendocino forest floor – the combination of redwoods, sorels, sun and ocean spray. Upon entry, the wine exudes a bright and lively character with notes of ripe raspberry, red fruits and subtle toasted oak. The wine closes at length with soft fine tannins and an inviting hint of vanilla. A blend: 45% Zinfandel, 17% Petite Sirah, 14% Charbono, 10% Merlot, 6% Syrah, 6% Grenache and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon.

This brisk, zesty white offers bright tones of white blossom, yellow apple, melon and seashell. It’s tangy on the light-bodied palate, driven by perky acidity, with crushed stone and fleshy melon flavors filling it out.

Cristom 2018 Pinot Noir Jessie Vineyard
$79.99Eola-Amity Hills Willamette Valley
James Suckling 99 Rating
This dramatically steep site delivers a wine of real personality and distinctiveness. The nose has a very layered mix of red cherries and berries with some plums, leaves, dry stones, forest wood and a wealth of sweetly fragrant spices. The palate holds such intensity and concentrated flavor with striking focus and drive. Mouthwateringly fresh red-cherry flavors are delivered in essence-like mode and hold long, on a super vibrant, explosive finish. The star of 2018 at Cristom and indeed for Willamette Valley pinot per se. Drink or hold. SP27-5 -
Cristom 2022 Eileen Vineyard Pinot Noir
$79.99 – $420.00Eola-Amity Hills Willamette Valley Oregon
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Rating
A deeper and layered profile emerges in the 2022 Pinot Noir Eileen Vineyard, which comes from windswept site where the grapes get thick skins from the wind. It has a more woodsy profile, with savory saline, brothy feel, tea leaf, toasted spice, and black cherries. Drink it over the coming 15-20 years.

Cristom 2022 Jessie Vineyard Pinot Noir
$89.99 – $480.00Eola-Amity Hills Willamette Valley Oregon
Jeb Dunnuck 96 Rating
A ripe ruby red color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Jessie Vineyard displays a more savory profile. Coming from the winery’s steepest vineyard site with a 33% grade, it has an elegant floral perfume of ripe berries, and the texture is supple, with ripe tannins and an approachable feel. It’s well-detailed, with a cushion of approachability, but it’s fully dry and has a savory undertone. Drink 2025-2040.

Cristom 2022 Marjorie Vineyard Pinot Noir
$79.99 – $420.00Eola-Amity Hills Willamette Valley Oregon
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Rating
The 2022 Pinot Noir Marjorie Vineyard comes from the only pre-existing vines the family acquired when they purchased the winery in 1992. A deeper magenta color, it’s perfumed with seductive notes of violets, black raspberries, sweet herbs, and forest earth. The palate offers plenty of purity, and it has a fantastic, savory finish, with ripe tannins and even acidity. It’s drinking well now, with a wide window for enjoying over the coming 15 or so years.

Cristom Vineyards 2022 Chardonnay
$39.99 – $216.00Eola-Amity Hills Oregon
Decanter Magazine 97 Rating
Only half an acre (.2ha) of Chardonnay in the Louise Vineyard at Cristom, clone 95 was planted in 1995, and Cristom winemaker Daniel Estrin is grateful for all that he gets. He spends a lot of time walking these blocks. Daniel likes the phenolics in this Chardonnay, and this wine shows that, a nervousness and edge that is framed by a finely etched saline minerality. Bright, spicy, fresh and minerality. He calls it a coyness and believes this wine will get better in 10 years. Aromatics of grilled citrus, lime blossoms and candied ginger liveliness. The palate dances beautifully between that fine edge and a depth of creamy citrus fruit. Brilliance, savoury and saline it’s a thing of beauty.

Cristom Vineyards 2023 Pinot Noir Mt. Jefferson Cuvee
$39.99 – $216.00Eola-Amity Hills Willamette Valley
A fresh, wild, and savory expression with vibrant acidity and an elegant structure. Earth-laced fruit aromas of blackberry bramble, dark cherry, and huckleberry seamlessly intertwine with savory hints of curry leaves and lobster mushrooms, accented by subtle notes of dried orange peel and baking spices. Earthy and floral elements—forest floor, conifer needles, and rose hips—carry through to the palate, beautifully integrated with effusive raspberry and cherry notes, leading to a long, spicy finish.
