A wine that would hand many a Village Burgundy its ass, it’s well worth buying and drinking over the coming 3-5 years.

Shows black and red current, a touch of cocoa and notes of Christmas spice on the nose. The palate is rich with cherry pie, figs, smoked meats and hints of sage brush. Classic mountain aromatics of black fruits, tobacco, chocolate, and mineral-like nuances define the bouquet, and it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a layered mouthfeel, plenty of tannins, and a great finish.
