Chateau Maurac 2018 Red Blend Haut Medoc
$29.99 – $150.00Bordeaux France
Wine Enthusiast 92 Rating
A 24-acre vineyard close to Saint-Estèphe has produced this rich and dense wine. Tannins give a solid base to generous black-plum and berry fruits. Initially it seems as though this wine will develop quickly, but that is deceptive. With the tannic core and firm aftertaste, the wine will take its time. Drink from 2024.

Wine Enthusiast 93 Rating
The fifth vintage from this estate since its purchase by the Barton family of Léoville Barton in Saint-Julien, this is a generous, structured wine. It has ripe black fruits in profusion that are held together by the serious layer of tannins. Rich and concentrated, the wine will age for many years. Drink from 2024. (Editor's Choice) SP56-6 -
Chateau Mauvesin Barton 2020 Red Blend Moulis-en-Medoc
$29.99 – $138.00Bordeaux France
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Rating
The 2020 Château Mauvesin Barton brings more density and depth, yet it still has a more mid-weight, forward, pretty, and elegant style. A blend of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc, it offers up lots of red and black fruits, some spicy, dried herbs, and violet nuances, soft tannins, and a clean, lengthy finish. This balanced, elegant Moulis will keep for 10-12 years or more.

Chateau Mazouet 2018 Red Blend
$17.99 – $180.00St Emilion Bordeaux France
Château Mazouet is located on the plateau of the Saint-Emilion appellation, in the town of Saint-Pey d'Armens. The name of the castle comes from the locality on which all the vines are located. The vines are 35 to 40 years old divided over an area of 17 acres. The fermentation occurs in stainless steel vessels under constant temperature control. A long maturation takes place to achieve maximum color extraction and to promote tannin content. Beautiful intense grenade of color. In the nose a bouquet of cherries and spices. In the mouth around, fruity with soft tannins. Excellent with grilled meat dishes, roasted pork and hearty dishes.

Château Meyney 2019 Bordeaux Blend Saint-Estèphe
$39.99 – $228.00Bordeaux France
Vinous 95 Rating
The 2019 Meyney has a divine bouquet, so pure and winsome with floral red berry scents, beautifully integrated new oak and superb precision. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fleshy to the point where you can almost overlook the backbone of this Saint-Estephe. It could have been blowsy, yet it retains superb balance and feels luxuriant and long on the finish. This is a stellar showing easily eclipsing its performances either in barrel or just after bottling.

Black fruits, menthol and dark chocolate on the ripe nose. Rich, dense and chocolatey-sweet; quite full but with very good vinosity. Finishes with substantial palate-coating tannins and very good length. The terroir of Lussac is characterized by the diversity of its soils, distributed between the plateaus, the sides of the hills and small valleys. This red blend made of primarily Merlot came from vines situated in clay and limestone soil. It is a food-friendly, deep red wine full of black-plum and dark-cherry fruit ending with a supple, persistent finish.

Another brilliant vintage for this estate, which has been going from strength to strength over the past decade, the 2018 Château Monbousquet reveals a dense purple, opaque color as well as a rich yet lively bouquet of cassis, chocolate covered currants, new leather, and graphite.
