  • Domaine Tempier 2018 Bandol

Remarkably fresh and approachable for a region known for brawn. Perfectly balanced, delicious with a slight chill; wonderfully perfumed of sandalwood and spring blossoms. R6-5 WL-1

  • Cantina Terlano-Kellerei Terlan 2016 Porphyr Lagrein Riserva

    $49.99

    Trentino-Alto Adige Italy
    James Suckling 96 Rating
You rarely, if ever, see this level of complexity in a lagrein, which goes headlong through bracken, tea leaves, vanilla, blackberries, undergrowth, heather and violet extract. Full-bodied and very structured indeed, the chewy tannins envelop layers of compact yet exuberant dark fruit. Elements of undergrowth and spice linger on the long finish. Stunning. Delicious now, but better in 2022. R43-4

  • Nickel & Nickel 2021 C.C. Ranch Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon

    $109.99$570.00

    Napa Valley California
    Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
Coming from well-drained, gravelly loam soils just west of the Silverado Trail in Rutherford, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon C.C. Ranch just about jumps out of the glass with ripe red, black, and blue fruits as well as complex notes of sappy green flowers, camphor, iron, and dusty earth. It’s a big, mouth-filling, full-bodied effort that has solid tannins, plenty of mid-palate depth, and outstanding length, and there’s clearly a more floral, herbal edge here that gives it a singular character. While it doesn’t quite have the elegance in its tannins of some of the other releases, I love its complexity, and it has perfectly ripe fruit and a terrific sense of freshness and vibrancy. It’s going to evolve for 15-20 years with ease. It’s an impressive wine. SP18-1

  • Jada Winery 2020 Passing By

    $89.99$480.00

    Paso Robles California
    Wine Advocate 93 Rating
The 2020 Passing By is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petite Sirah and 2% Merlot. It has a deep ruby-purple color and scents of cassis, pencil shavings, violet, dried herbs and aniseed. The full-bodied palate is soft and juicy with loads of jammy fruit and new oak, with vanilla, brown sugar and nutmeg lingering on the finish. It’s a good effort in a challenging vintage and lovers of ripe, oaked reds can enjoy this over the next 3-5 years. R26-5

This savory stunner has enticing scents of violet, rose and wild berry that gain complexity alongside notes of leather, camphor and sandalwood. The elegantly structured palate is all about precision, featuring juicy cherry, blood orange, star anise and tobacco framed in taut, refined tannins. Bright acidity keeps it energized. • Jada Winery 2020 Jersey Girl Syrah

    $79.99$420.00

    Paso Robles California
The 2020 Jersey Girl embodies our love for not only blends but also co-fermentations. At the core of the blend is one of our darkest clones of Syrah, clone 383, and a co-fermentation of Syrah, Viognier, and Graciano harvested on the same day. Several other Syrah-based co-fermentations were blended into the Jersey Girl to add mid-palate richness, with color and spicy and earthy notes from the Graciano and Tannat. Overall about 7% of Syrah was fermented as whole cluster to add more spice, floral notes, and complex fruit aromatics.
