Coming from higher elevation granite soils and just about all Syrah, the 2018 Cotes Du Roussillon Villages Lesquerde L’Esquerda offers stunning granite character with its cassis and black raspberry fruit intermixed with lots of wet stone, ground pepper, white flowers, and hints of truffle. Deep, medium to full-bodied, beautifully pure and elegant on the palate, with light tannins, it’s going to keep for upwards of a decade.

  • Dominus Estate 2012 Red

    $269.99

    Napa Valley California
    Antonio Galloni 100 Rating
    Extremely Limited Offering

The 2012 Dominus is a wild, exotic wine. Harvest began on October 9 and finished on the 21st, very late by present-day standards. Ripe red cherry, kirsch, cinnamon, rose petal, incense and rose petal soar out of the glass. Deep and vibrant, with terrific freshness, Dominus is very clearly one of the wines of the year. I loved the 2012 from barrel, but found it quite closed after bottling. Now, after all these years, I finally see the realization of the potential suggested in my barrel tastings. Magnificent. • Claude Riffault 2023 ‘Les Boucauds’ Sancerre

    $39.99$420.00

    Loire Valley France
From a top parcel in Sury-en-Vaux. The 2023 version of Les Boucauds is a blend of both Burgundy barrels (several from Etienne Sauzet in Puligny-Montrachet) and larger oak. Because of the deep clay and limestone soils, Les Boucauds always has great mouthfeel and depth, as opposed to Stephane’s silex and caillottes parcels which are more linear and austere in their youth.

  • Cristom Vineyards 2022 Chardonnay

    $39.99$216.00

    Eola-Amity Hills Oregon
    Decanter Magazine 97 Rating
Only half an acre (.2ha) of Chardonnay in the Louise Vineyard at Cristom, clone 95 was planted in 1995, and Cristom winemaker Daniel Estrin is grateful for all that he gets. He spends a lot of time walking these blocks. Daniel likes the phenolics in this Chardonnay, and this wine shows that, a nervousness and edge that is framed by a finely etched saline minerality. Bright, spicy, fresh and minerality. He calls it a coyness and believes this wine will get better in 10 years. Aromatics of grilled citrus, lime blossoms and candied ginger liveliness. The palate dances beautifully between that fine edge and a depth of creamy citrus fruit. Brilliance, savoury and saline it’s a thing of beauty.
