LaLuca Prosecco
$13.99 – $144.00Veneto Italy
The nose is instantly defined and distinctive, offering up bold orchard fruits, crisp pears, and lemon curd, all of which come together in a rich, creamy off-dry style that is extremely appealing. There is a deft touch of minerality, playing nicely against the subtle sweetness of the wine. Vinified entirely in stainless steel employing the Charmat method, native, indigenous yeasts are utilized when possible. The finish shows excellent length and fine overall balance. Antonio Galloni 94 Rating
Limpid ruby-red. Mineral-tinged black raspberry, cherry cola, pungent flowers and exotic spices on the highly perfumed nose. Palate-caressing red and dark berry, spicecake and candied rose flavors show superb clarity, underscored by a vein of juicy acidity. Concentrated but distinctly lithe in character, with a strikingly long, focused finish that features sneaky tannins and reverberating floral and spice notes.

Long Shadows 2017 Chester Kidder Red Blend
$49.99Columbia Valley
Wine Enthusiast 93 Rating
Aromas of black fruit, anise, vanilla, cocoa and other barrel spices are followed by pitch-black, rich, hedonistic fruit flavors that bring the acidity and tannin structure of the vintage. It's intense, but with plenty of sophistication. A lengthy finish, caps it off. Best after 2025. R20-4 -
B Wise 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Trios
$39.99Napa Valley California
When it comes to Brion Wise’s brilliant collection of American wines, the new Napa Valley Trios cuvee of Cabernet Sauvignon is guaranteed to make you smile ear to ear. The Trios is drawn from prized vineyards in Rutherford, Yountsville and Coombsville that each feature porous, gravelly soil. This forces the roots to dig deep into the poor soil, drawing mineral groundwater for fresh, vibrant grapes. The vineyards’ position on the valley floor guarantees excellent sun exposure providing for superb concentration. The resulting wine is deep and concentrated, with flavors of strawberry, black cherry, licorice and toasty oak. The tannins are fine and the finish is mineral and seems to just go on and on. R37-1
