This is so good! I want to drink it now. Iodine, mushrooms, dark fruit and orange peel on the nose and palate. Full-bodied, yet polished and fresh. Lovely tension. A blend of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Malbec. SP59-2

  • Chateau Pichon-Longueville Baron 2018 Pauillac

This great estate in southern Pauillac, facing the Latour vineyard, is at the top of its game. In this release, the tannins are as impressive and dense as the black fruits. Together they form a harmonious ensemble, richly structured, concentrated from the many old vines in the blend, and very ageworthy. *Cellar Selection* SP56-5

The flagship 2018 Château Phélan Ségur is a beauty based on 57% Cabernet Sauvignon and 43% Merlot. This was a great vintage for the Médoc, and the 2018 reveals a dense purple hue to go with powerful notes of blackcurrants, iron, smoked tobacco, chocolate, and earth. Rich, full-bodied, and concentrated, it has beautiful tannin's, remarkable purity of fruit, and just does everything right. It has some up-front appeal today (no doubt due to the high Merlot content), yet it builds with time in the glass and shows more and more structure with air. It deserves 5-6 years of bottle age and will keep for 20-25. It's every bit as good as the 2016, if not better. SP53-12 BX-6

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve To Kalon shows beautiful elegance and poise, with classic cassis and currant fruits supported by complex dried herb, unsmoked tobacco, and flowery incense nuances. Coming from gravelly, well-drained soils, it’s full-bodied, has classic To Kalon opulence, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It’s an utterly classic Napa Valley beauty to enjoy over the coming 30-40 years. R16-3

  • Robert Foley Vineyards 2017 Merlot

I loved the 2017 Merlot from Foley, a medium to full-bodied, rounded, undeniably delicious Merlot offering textbook dark cherry, chocolate, tobacco, and baking spice aromas and flavors. A mix of valley floor and hillside fruit, aged 20 months in 30% new barrels, it's going to drink well for 10-15 years. R42-2

    James Suckling 91 Rating
Don’t expect a typical Austrian gruner when you open this bottle. You could be delighted by this very distinctive expression of the grape. The nose shows wildflower aromas. Then comes the juicy, medium-bodied palate, with notes of green pears and greengage plums plus a lot of apple freshness

  • Domaine Pere Caboche 2021 Cotes du Rhone Red

    $14.99$84.00

    Southern Rhone Valley
The color is a beautiful ruby red with violet highlights. Expressive on the nose, with jammy red fruits and soft spices. Particularly silky on the mouth, with very fine grain tannins. This wine also shows a very nice freshness. The whole is elegant and pleasing, with a dominating aroma of ripe fruits, grey pepper, and a hint of sage. The finish Is soft and fresh, almost minty. A nice Cotes-du-Rhone to be fond of, accessible to all.
