Matthews Winery 2020 Blackboard Cabernet Sauvignon
$19.99 – $96.00Columbia Valley Washington State
International Wine Report 90 Rating
Medium purple in color, the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon by Blackboard has aromas of slight oak and red licorice. On the palate, dusty chocolate, black cherry, blueberry compote, and slight vanilla bean are all present. This wine has a pleasurable mouthfeel, with minimal tannins, and is well structured. This is an easy drinking, a fruit-forward, and gratifying effort that should be enjoyed over the next five years. As with all Blackboard offerings, it is a great value and a wine you can stock up on without breaking the bank.

Krutz Family 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III
$139.99 – $720.00Napa Valley California
Enjoyabilityfactor 96 Rating
Our 2019 Cabernet is one of the most powerful offerings we have produced. The heat of the summer guided the grapes to an easily extracted and rich profile. It is a full bodied wine with a dynamic tannin structure and rich black fruits with a backing of vanilla from the French oak barrels. Young and dominant, this wine will likely age better than us. 22 months in 90% new French oak.

Chateau Fombrauge 2018 Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
$59.99Bordeaux France
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
A gorgeous wine that shines on all account, the 2018 Château Fombrauge sports a dense purple hue to go with loads of blackcurrant and black cherry fruits as well as tobacco leaf, damp earth, chocolate, and cedary herbs. With full-bodied richness, a deep, layered mid-palate, silky tannins, and outstanding length, this rock star Saint-Emilion can be enjoyed any time over the coming 20-25 years or more. It's hands down the finest vintage I've tasted from this estate. SP53-3 -
Muga 2019 Torre Muga Rioja
$119.99 – $630.00Spain
Jeb Dunnuck 98+ Rating
The 2019 Torre Muga is always a more powerful, ripe expression of Rioja that never loses its sense of place. Deep ruby/purple, with a glorious bouquet of cassis, graphite, tobacco leaf, chocolate, and crushed stone, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a deep, pure, multi-dimensional texture, building tannins, and good acidity. It's young, unevolved, yet oh, so promising. Hide bottles for 7-8 years if you can, and it will cruise for 20-30 years. The blend is 80% Tempranillo and the balance Mazuelo and Graciano, aged 18 months in French oak. Drink: 2029-2060.

Muga Prado Enea 2014 Grand Reserva
$89.99Rioja Spain
James Suckling 97 Rating
Really beautiful aromas of crushed blackberry, brambleberry, hazelnut, walnut and light coffee, following through to a full yet so reserved and polished body with fine, creamy-textured tannins. Fresh and exquisite finish. This is a much more refined and harmonic rendition of their classic wine. Three years in French oak from their own production. Very enjoyable now, but this will improve with age for a long time. R41-5
