Chateau Suduiraut 2019 Sauternes 375 ml
$44.99Bordeaux
Wine Enthusiast 96 Rating
While the wine is not ultrarich in texture, it is beautifully balanced between zesty citrus and plenty of serious botrytis and honey flavors. Showing a delicious orange marmalade character, it is ready for aging. SPCAB1-6 -
Chateau Tour De Segur 2020 Bordeaux Blend Lussac Saint-Emilion
Price range: $21.99 through $216.00Bordeaux France
Intense, cherry red color. The nose is pleasant with notes of ripe red fruit, hints of spice and vanilla. Very pleasant balance between structure and volume. Fruit aromas blend elegantly with woody notes. Good ageing; it can be left to age longer to appreciate its qualities. Pair with mushroom toast, oven roasted duck or even for pork knuckle with lentils.

Chateau Tour St-Christophe 2018 St-Emilion Grand Cru
$49.99Bordeaux France
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
Emerging from a beautiful, terraced vineyard on the eastern side of Saint-Emilion, the 2018 Château Tour Saint Christophe is based on 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc that was brought up in 40% new French oak. Its vivid purple color is followed by a great nose of blackcurrants, blueberries, tobacco leaf, chocolate, violets, and chocolate. Hitting the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, it has this wonderful sense of purity and elegance, a touch of chalky minerality, flawless balance, and a great finish. This beautiful, elegant, seamless Saint-Emilion needs 4-5 years of bottle age but will evolve for 20-25 years. You won't regret having this in the cellar. 95+. SP54-8 R7-2 -

The nose of this wine smells like strawberries and cream with hints of peach and sea shells. The palate shows great balance between the strawberry-vanilla flavor and the citrus-pith bitterness, the soaring acidity also lifts up this refreshing rose.

A powerhouse of a wine that flirts with perfection, the 2019 Hermitage reveals a dense purple hue as well as an extraordinary bouquet of sweet blue fruits supported by notes of crushed stone, lead pencil, leather, and ground pepper, with hints of flowers in the background. Full-bodied, stunningly pure, and massively concentrated, yet with riveting precision and elegance, it needs to be hidden in the back of the cellar for a decade and will evolve for 30, 40, if not 50 years. Tasting the trilogy of the 2018, 2019, and 2020 over the coming decades will be the equivalent of wine nirvana. SP39-9 -
Chave 2019 Hermitage Blanc

Another incredible white from this family is the 2019 Hermitage Blanc, a powerful, concentrated, and remarkably pure Hermitage that has laser-like focus as well as textbook Marsanne notes of quince, green almond, powdered rock, licorice, and spice. It’s still tight, focused, and inward at present, yet it reminds me of the 2018 with its purity and rare mix of power and elegance. It’s worth trying a bottle any time over the coming 3-5 years, but after that, I’d recommend waiting until after 2031. R43-1
