As with a lot of 2018 whites, the 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape Hauts De Barville Blanc is lightly concentrated, with racy notes of lemon blossom, crushed rocks, and white flowers. It's beautifully balanced, elegant, and refreshing on the palate, and certainly impeccably made. It's ideal for drinking over the coming 4-6 years. The blend is 80% Grenache Blanc, 10% Clairette, and the balance Bourboulenc and Roussanne, brought up in stainless steel.
