    $16.99$90.00

    Puglia Italy
    Enjoyabilityfactor 92 Rating
Intense ruby red color with fruity hints of cherry and small red berries. Blackcherry, dried flowers, spice and licorice lift up from the bouquet. The fruit returns to the mouth, where the sip is sliding of excellent persistence.

  • Maxem 2021 Pinot Noir UV Vineyard

    $89.99

    Sonoma Coast California
    Wine Advocate 96 Rating
Far West in the Sonoma Coast, just a short drive to the Pacific Ocean, lies one of northern California’s best Pinot & Chard vineyard, named UV after it’s founder Ulysses Valdez. Maxem is a micro-producer, basically just a husband and wife making wine in their garage. But this is really, really good garage wine, and on the radar of cult wine collectors. Full bodied, ripe, fruit forward and smooth, great as an aperitivo or with food. BX-12

  • DuMol 2021 Isobel Charles Heintz Vineyard Chardonnay

    $89.99

    Sonoma Coast California
    Wine Advocate 98 Rating
The 2021 Chardonnay Isobel Charles Heintz Vineyard is the 20th bottling of a Heintz Vineyard Chardonnay at DuMOL. It was harvested September 25-27, matured in larger barrels and finished with six months in stainless steel. “There are very few better vintages of this,” winemaker Andy Smith exclaims during our tasting, and I have to agree. It’s bursting with scents of matchstick, chamomile, Greek yogurt and white peach, and over time, it unfurls unique spicy, herbal undertones. The palate is intensely concentrated, boasting expansive, dynamic flavors that segue from stone fruit to honey. Satiny and seamless, it has a tremendously long finish with mind-altering depth of flavor. Fans of Burgundy will love it for its flinty tones, and fans of California for its concentration and power. • Domaine du Pegau 2021 Chateauneuf du Pape

    $89.99

    Southern Rhone Valley France
    James Suckling 95 Rating
This has so much power and meaty depth for the 2021 vintage, also stacks of healthy tannins that give it great intensity at the very long and complete finish. It’s packed with licorice, tar and stony character that makes it hard to pull yourself away from its compelling hold. Drinkable now, but best from 2025. R44-1

  • Produttori 2013 Barbaresco Pora Riserva

    $89.99

    Piedmont Italy
    Wine Spectator 95 Rating
A rich, cherry- and floral-scented red, effusive in aroma, with the core of cherry prevailing on the palate. Though fleshy, this gives way to firm tannins that line the lingering aftertaste. Inviting and full of energy, so decant now or wait. Best from 2023 through 2035. SP44-1

  • Chateau D’Issan 2020 Margaux

    $89.99

    Bordeaux France
    Jeb Dunnuck 96 Rating
The 2020 Chateau D’Issan is a stunningly good Margaux, and this is another estate that seems to producer brilliant wines every vintage. Pulling from 51.04 hectares of vines and a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, the rest Petit Verdot and Malbec, it’s a selection of just 45% of the total production and spent 18 months in 50% new and 50% once-used French oak. Beautiful, spiced-laced red and black fruits, chocolate, smoked tobacco, and incense notes define the aromatics. These carry to a medium to full-bodied restrained, elegant 2020 with terrific mid-palate density, ripe, velvety tannins, and terrific overall balance. This is one of those beautiful, classic wines that grows on you with time in the glass, and hats off to Emmanuel Cruse for yet another incredible wine. It’s going to evolve for another 25-30 years if well-stored. Best After 2026 SPBX-6

  • Spottswoode Lyndenhurst 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon

    $89.99

    Napa Valley California
    Wine Advocate 93 Rating
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Lyndenhurst is composed of 77.7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9.4% Cabernet Franc, 4.1% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot and 3.8% Malbec. Deep garnet-purple in color, it skips out of the glass with lively blueberries, redcurrants and kirsch scents, plus hints of cedar chest, fragrant earth and rose hip tea. Medium-bodied, elegant and lively in the mouth, the palate is chock-full of bright and crunchy red and black fruits, finishing long and earthy. R12-4

  • Chateau Giscours 2020 Red Blend

    $89.99

    Margaux Bordeaux France
    Wine Enthusiast 98 Rating
Perfumed, ripe and juicy, this structured wine is already impressive. Its layered texture and black plum fruits have serious potential, packed with fruit and tannins with a generous aftertaste. SP50-6
