  • De Wetshof 2023 Limestone Hill Chardonnay

    $16.99$156.00

The 2023 Chardonnay Limestone Hill undergoes between 80 and 120 days on the fine lees with weekly stirring. The aromatics offer squeezed lime and red apple scents that unfold nicely in the glass. The palate is fresh on the entry with nectarine and peach skin notes, a slightly oily texture, and a finish that I would swear was Viognier (it is definitely 100% Chardonnay). Good length, this is a fine and thoroughly enjoyable.

A super-ripe, gorgeous, easy-sipping red. It’s drenched in red cherries, black cherries, strawberries, cinnamon and vanilla bean on a smooth, broad texture that seems to melt in the mouth. So delicious and soft, with light tannins and a full body.

Notes of smoke and spice mingle into honeysuckle and lychee in this perfumed, fruity white. The palate is opulent and creamy, packed with white peach, lychee and apricot flavors. It is freshened by a lingering mineral crush and hints of fresh herb and leaf. Enjoy this complex, hedonistic wine now through 2030. R38-3

A terrific value in Northern Rhône Syrah, the 2020 Crozes-Hermitage Les Launes offers a juicy, medium-bodied, vibrant style as well as both red and blue fruits, notes of peppery herbs, violets, and bacon fat-like nuances on the nose. It’s a beautiful Syrah to enjoy over the coming decade.

A compelling meld of fresh black-plum, dark-red-cherry, black-olive and lavender aromas fill the glass. The palate is straightforward and black-fruited, with supple tannins that supporting layers of licorice, cocoa and dried herbs. This should make for a wonderful accompaniment to a juicy cheeseburger or dry-rubbed barbecue.

  • Delas Freres 2010 La Landonne Côte Rôtie

    $224.99

    Northern Rhone Valley France
    Wine Advocate 98 Rating
Up with some of the greatest Cote Roties out there is Delas's 2010 Cote Rotie la Landonne. Revealing an inky purple color as well as an incredible perfume of spring flowers, violets, black raspberries, graphite and Asian spice, it has drop-dead gorgeous purity, full-bodied richness and a seamless, layered texture that fails to completely cover the wine's underlying tannic grip. Made from 100% Syrah and aged 16 months in new French oak, hide bottles in the cellar for another 4-5 years and enjoy them over the following three decades. SP35-4

  • DeLille Cellars 2019 Chaleur Blanc

    $34.99

    Columbia Valley Washington State
    Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
One of the best Bordeaux Blanc blends coming out of Washington, the 2019 Chaleur Blanc checks in as 69% Sauvignon Blanc and 31% Semillon that was barrel fermented and aged in 60% new oak. Honeyed grapefruit, white flowers, sappy, green herbs, and a kiss of minerality all define the bouquet, and this beauty is medium-bodied, with a beautifully balanced, concentrated mouthfeel and a great finish. It ranks with the top examples of this cuvée I've tasted. R21-1
