Hourglass 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Blueline Estate
Price range: $149.99 through $738.00Napa Valley California
The magic of Blueline Estate continues to wow us with the estates’ signature wine. The 2022 walks the perfect balance of elegance, brightness, and power. A blend crafted from Cabernet (80%), Petite Verdot (10%), Malbec (7%) and Cabernet Franc (3%) showcases Tony’s blending skill. Aromatics of ground coffee, wet gravel, forest ferns and barrel toast cascade with nuanced precision, winding through dramatic red and dark fruit tones. Dark sour cherry, red plum, pomegranate and blackberry translate powerfully from nose to palate. Rich silky tannins are countered with a tensional energy of mouthwatering natural acidity and the trademark Blueline minerality.

Hundred Acre 2016 Ark Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
$799.99Napa Valley California
Jeb Dunnuck 100 Rating
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Ark Vineyard is largely cut from the same cloth and reveals a purple/ruby hue as well as a deep, profound bouquet of blue fruits, cassis, dried violets, Asian spices, vanilla-laced coffee, and a whiff of new leather. Complex, full-bodied, and magically textured, it packs loads of fruit and opulence yet stays flawlessly balanced, has silky tannins, no hard edges and a majestic, singular personality. As with the 2015, drink this thrilling wine any time over the coming 30+ years. SP13-2 -
Hundred Acre Fortunate Son 2021 The Dreamer
Price range: $159.99 through $900.00Napa Valley California
Decanter Magazine 97 Rating
100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 30–32 months in ultra-tight grain French oak barriques. The wine displays a shimmering, lucid ruby color. Gorgeous, dusty, dark berry fruit unfolds with an incredible panoply of mulled Christmas spices and warm berry pie compote. Full-bodied and texturally defined, framed by a core of ultra-fine tannins with added dark berry fruit depth. It is a meal unto itself but better paired with roasted meats drizzled in rich plum sauce and accompanied by prosciutto-wrapped figs. R20-2 SP19-2 regular $199.99

Hyland Estates 2023 Petite Estate Pinot Noir
Price range: $24.99 through $120.00Willamette Valley Oregon
Wine Enthusiast 92 Rating
Petit describes the wine’s restraint and elegance, as snappy acidity and silky tannins match restrained alcohol. The Petit is packed with the aromas and flavors of Bing cherries, lemon zest, bittersweet dark chocolate and a wisp of coriander and oak spice. The wine feels soft and refined on the palate. It spent 20 days on the skins and nine months in a mix of stainless steel and French oak.

I Greppi 2020 Greppicaia Bolgheri Superiore
Price range: $69.99 through $360.00Tuscany Italy
Wine Spectator 95 Rating
Full of plum, blackberry and black currant flavors, this succulent red is balanced and supple in texture. Leather, earth and tobacco flavors add depth as this stays long and bright on the finish. This is as much about the vivid acidity as tannins for structure. Cabernet Sauvignon. Best from 2025 through 2040. 772 cases made, 600 cases imported.

I Greppi 2022 Greppicaia Bolgheri Superiore
$69.99Tuscany Italy
Jeb Dunnuck 96 Rating
A highly luxurious style, the 2022 Greppicaia pours a dark purple/red color and is very pronounced and saturated with layered oak spice, toasted vanilla, cedar, boysenberry, plum, cigar box, and polished leather. While the oak is quite forward, this is a wine of high quality, with a bright spine of ripe acidity to balance it out and a full-bodied, broad-shouldered and well-defined, ripe texture that doesn’t feel weighted. It has a very long, salty finish with bright redcurrant fruit lasting long on the palate. I can’t help but be impressed here, although it’s going to need several years in a cellar and is built for the long haul. R6-3 Most stores $79.99 -
