Jean-Marc Brocard 2020 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses
Price range: $99.99 through $510.00Burgundy France
Enjoyabilityfactor 95 Rating
The Les Preuses Grand Cru site is located on a geological ‘amphitheater’ created by the Vaudésir valley. The vines are planted to a southeastern exposure, receiving heaps of sunshine to aid in ripening. The sub-soil offers a harmonious combination of compact clay and calcareous soils.
Aromatically the wine is intensely floral and stone fruit-driven, with quince, Asian pears, yellow apples, jasmine, and honeysuckle lifting from the glass. On the palate, there is a luxurious creaminess to the wine, with a final note of bracing minerality to balance it out.

Jean-Marc Brocard 2022 Sainte Claire Chablis
Price range: $24.99 through $264.00Burgundy France
Decanter Magazine 93 Rating
Some of the vines here are over 70 years old. Even with a reticent, understated nose one can sense the energy and precision in this wine. There’s a lovely, creamy texture on the palate, with bright citrus notes and a long, lingering, savoury, mineral finish. A very fine example of Chablis which would compete very effectively against many a premier cru.

Wine Spectator 95 Rating
Very clean and focused, with an intensity that belies its delicate profile. Wonderful aromas and flavors of apricot, flowers and slate, with pinpoint balance and a long, almost salty aftertaste. Deceptive and completely disarming in its appeal. Drink now through 2030. *Collectibles* Wall -

Really ripe and takes an exotic bent, with a mix of loganberry, mulberry and boysenberry fruit compote flavors infused liberally with licorice snap and wood spice accents. Shows lots of apple wood and mesquite through the finish, which is carried by a tarry spine. Showy and pulls it off. Best from 2023 through 2035. 2,391 cases made.

Always a good value, the 2018 Todos checks in as a kitchen sink blend of 45% Syrah, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Petit Verdot, 9% Petite Sirah, and the rest Merlot and other miscellaneous varieties. Its inky, glass-staining purple color is followed by a beautiful bouquet of smoked black fruits, bouquet garni, peppered meat, and hints of crushed rock. It’s rich, medium to full-bodied, beautifully balanced, and just a gorgeous wine. SP27-10 -

Jorge Ordonez 2021 Nisia Verdejo Old Vines
Price range: $14.99 through $150.00Rueda Spain
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Rating
All Verdejo, the 2021 Nisia is cut from the same cloth and has vibrant yellow fruits, citrus blossom, honeysuckle, and floral notes in its medium-bodied, clean, lively, pretty style. It's slightly fresher and more medium-bodied compared to the richer 2020. This cuvee spent 6 months in a mix of neutral puncheons and demi-muids.

Joseph Drouhin 2020 Pouilly Vinzelles
Price range: $32.99 through $324.00Burgundy France
A wine for mere pleasure! Pale yellow colour with numerous bright green reflections. Intense persistant flavours of peach and white flowers harmoniously meshed together. On the palate, the wine is ample, fresh, intense, with reminiscent notes of ripe grapes, almond, fresh hazelnut and cinnamon. The mouth reveals an elegant wine endowered with a good structure. The 2020 wines display an intense gold colour with a nice shiny aspect. The nose is aromatic, mixing both white flowers and fruit such as peach. This seduction is also found on the palate with ample wines on a nice structure and it makes them very pleasant in their youth.
